Davis DUI Defense

DUI Defense in Davis can be divided into two distinct cases.  The first is an action through the Department of Motor Vehicles based off of the arrest for a Davis DUI.  Under California Law, the DMV may automatically suspend a person’s driving privileges for a minimum of four months following an arrest for a first offense Davis DUI.  Upon release from an arrest for Davis Drunk Driving you will be issued a temporary license which instructs that you have ten calendar days from the date of arrest to contact the DMV to request a stay on the automatic suspension.  The temporary license issued to you following an arrest for a Davis DUI is good for 30 days and if you fail to request an administrative per se hearing through the DMV within the initial ten days then your driving privileges will become automatically suspended following the expiration of the temporary license.
